MEET THE PPV TEAM

Jan Moore, as company president, leads the Professional Property Valuations LLC team. Jan has been appraising properties across Nebraska since 2000, starting her career in Southwest Nebraska (Frontier County), and then relocating to Southeast Nebraska (Otoe/Lancaster Counties) in 2001.

Known on social media as the Nebraska Appraiser, Jan specializes in both residential and agriculture appraisals. Over the last decade, Jan has developed a comprehensive database of both residential and farm sales, trends, and rental data for the local markets. Jan is a Certified General Appraiser, as well as a qualified Appraisal Trainee Supervisor. She is a member of the Nemaha Valley Board of Realtors, the Lincoln Board of Realtors, Midlands MLS, and Paragon MLS. Jan has been an expert witness on several occasions and has worked with county mediation and the board of equalization panels.

Jan enjoys serving her community in various activities including serving as a current member and past president of the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, current vice president of the Syracuse Area Economic Development Corporation, District Board of Directors for Community Memorial Hospital (2008-2016), Corporate Board of Directors for Community Memorial Hospital (2016-2018) and current member of the District Board of Directors for Syracuse Area Health.

Jan and her husband live on a family farm in rural Otoe County, where she enjoys her family, reading, hiking, and quilting in her spare time.
